BRANDING

Hey there welcome back to my blog, its time to talk about what every brand needs to start, previously, we talked about what a brand is. So what are those things we have to put in place to make that brand stand?
First thing you should understand is that, building a brand is like building a house; you need a plan, and the execution, putting the right things to place

Brand Personality

Be unique

What is personality? It is who you are, therefore the personalityof your brand is who your brand is, and this includes a lot of things, which can go a long way in making your brand stand out among other brand, and here are a few of them

LOGO

Your brand must have a simple logo that could go a long way in speaking for you, a very simple logo that people can reckon with once they spot them anywhere. Something that can always represent you even in the market.
One secret about your logo is that, it is your brand in a picture, so you need to keep it as simple and precise as possible.

COLORS:
Smart colors

Avoid using too many colors in representing your brand except your brand is all about colors, and even on that, you need to pick your colors with precision and rhythm. No Customer wants to see a brand with color riot. Your colors should represent you well, and even on your logo, your color should come outsmart and bright, not dull and ill.
Always avoid dull and cold colors except your brand is precisely about them.
Re: the way customers react to your logo and colors goes a long way in making your brand stand out.

STYLE:
Be creative with your style

Every brand should have her unique style, and it should be something spurred from their creativity, relating to their personality. They should have the way they react to situations, the way they handle conflicts, they way they treat their staffs and customers. People always love to compare, and if your style is not unique, but the same as you competitors, customers wouldn’t see your difference, but when you do things your way, then you are one step above others, and not just your way, but the right way.
Re: everyone wants to be treated differently, so make sure you give your customers special treats always, it always make them come back for more.

MESSAGE AND PROMISE:

What is that thing you have promised todo for your customers? What is that message that brings them to your brand, and how strong is your CALL TO ACTION (CTA) your brand should have a message and promise strong enough to convince even the hardest of hearts. When people read about you, do they have enough reason to try you? Do you have enough words to compel them to leave your competitors and come to you? If you don’t. then you need to prepare one.
Re: a strong brand message and promise is what makes you have new customers come to try you, but then. MAKE SURE YOU ARE TRUE TO YOUR WORDS. Let it be a What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG)

GROWTH PLAN AND STRATEGY

How do you want to be in the next five years? Where do you want to be in the next few years? These are the type of questions that should guide your brand’s growth. Every brand needs a growth plan, and a strategy to achieve that growth.
First we have to understand the difference between PLAN and STRATEGY
PLAN simply refers to an intention of what one wants to do, while STRATEGY refers to your plans, how you want to achieve them. While your plan is WHAT you want to achieve, your strategy is HOW you want to achieve them.
Without a growth plan, and a strategy to back it up, no brand will stand. Imagine wanting to build a duplex without a house plan, or a definite strategy, if at all it is ever built, it would’ve been better it wasn’t built, because the fall of it would be so great.
All brand needs a plan that would drive them and give them a focus, so at every point they can measure their progress and know what is left for them to achieve.
